An outlook on the murder of Henri IVth

Two exhibitions are to be held in Pau to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the murder of French King Henri IVth.

. From April 1st to June 30th :

The exhibition : « Paris vaut bien une messe » - Florence 1610 : Tributes of the Medici to Henri IVth, King of France and Navarre – National Museum of the Castle of Pau

This exhibition is associated to the National tragedy of the murder of Henri IVth by a fanatic named Ravaillac in Paris, on May 14th, 1610.

This is the main event organized for the 400th anniversary of his death, that will be held in the Castle of Pau.

. From May 14th to September 9th :
« Regards sur l'assassinat d'Henri IV".

Fifteen paintings which have been selected from the collections of the National Museum depict the murder of Henri IVth
