Biarritz Le Phare

Located in the town-center of Biarritz, the Golf of Le Phare spreads over 34 hectares overlooking the city and offering a spectacular view on the ocean and the nearby mountains.

The par 69 course of 18 holes over a distance of 5,376m offers the advantage of being settled next to the hotels, restaurants, beaches and shops of Biarritz.

With the organization of many international competitions, like the prestigious Biarritz Cup held there every year, Biarritz has become a golf legend within a century.

Created a year before by members of the British Club, the Golf was designed and built in 1888 by the English architects Tom and Willy Dunn, which makes it the second oldest golf course after Pau, in Bearn.

Although it seems easy and offers excellent playing conditions, the course, which is not very physically demanding, is highly technical.

The Golf of Le Phare also offers golf lessons for all levels, a club house, a restaurant, a bar and a pro shop.
