Golf of Arcangues
Located in the lovely
village of Arcangues, only ten minutes away from Biarritz, the Golf d’Arcangues winds round the family property of the d’Arcangues family.
Designed in the 1990es by the American architect Ronald Fream, the golf spreads over 198 acres surrounding the XIIth century village and the château.
On the 72 course running between oaks and quiet green meadows, golfers can enjoy the remarkable view on the Pyrenees and the Basque countryside, as well as a glance on the nearby ocean.
The practice stands close to the clubhouse, also facing South to the mountains. It includes nine covered stands, one of which is reserved for the golf pro with mats.
The clubhouse, a 15th century restored farmhouse, offers a restaurant and a terrace facing South over the 1st and 10th tees and the 18th green, as well as a large English bar with a lounge area, a corner for bridge players and an open fireplace.
