From the 05/09/2008 through the 06/09/2008OCEAN THUNDER, European Championship Open of Surf Rowing.
60 European teams (come from France, England, Wales, Portugal, and Holland), Australians and New Zealand will compete, on September 5th and September 6th 2008, for the second championship of Europe of Surf Rowing and the first European edition of the famous Australian professional series, Ocean Thunder.
The Surf Rowing is an amazing and spectacular sport, which asks for physical and mental strength, as well for the rowers as for the sweep which plays a dominating role in the race. Until the last second, new developments are breathtaking.
Only 3 weeks after the Olympic Games, the French Olympic team of Oar, with champions such as Adrien Hardy and Jean-Baptiste Macquet will confront the champions of Surf Live-Saving. An inedit duel of cultures !
